{"id":3219,"date":"2020-10-12T13:44:02","date_gmt":"2020-10-12T20:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aascend.org\/?p=3219"},"modified":"2020-10-12T14:43:12","modified_gmt":"2020-10-12T21:43:12","slug":"stanford-neurodiversity-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aascend.org\/?p=3219","title":{"rendered":"The Stanford Neurodiversity Summit is ON!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In place of the usual October meeting, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">S<\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\">C<\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">E<\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">N<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">D<\/span><\/strong> invites (and strongly encourages) its members to join in the FREE online <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Stanford Neurodiversity Summit,<\/span><\/strong> organized and directed by AASCEND board member <strong>Dr. Lawrence Fung<\/strong>, with participation from a large array of autistic adults and autism professionals. <\/span>The theme of the Summit is &#8220;<strong>Scaling Up the Neurodiversity at Work Initiative<\/strong>&#8220;. This conference will bring\u00a0together neurodivergent individuals, employers, service agencies, educators and students, parents, and professionals from all areas of the field. It may come to be considered an historic event so you won&#8217;t want to miss it. There are multiple sessions on many different topics, presented over the course of five days. You can attend one or all of them! Program <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/neurodiversity\/ncw.html\" target=\"_blank\">information here<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 and most importantly,\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/stanford-neurodiversity-summit-tickets-115366333810\" target=\"_blank\">register HERE<\/a><\/strong>. (Don&#8217;t worry if it says <em>Late Registration<\/em> or <em>Sales Ended<\/em>: It&#8217;s still free and available to the last day of the conference.
