Click<\/span><\/em> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/neurodiversity\/ncw\/job-fairs.html\">HERE<\/a><\/strong> <em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">for details and registration.<\/span><\/em><br \/><!--!-- p:paragraph ----><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On <strong style=\"color: red;\">November 14 <\/strong>(<em>NOT the usual 1st Saturday!<\/em>) the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">S<\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\">C<\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">E<\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">N<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">D<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Job Club<\/strong> meeting <strong>via Zoom<\/strong> will feature AASCEND Board member <strong style=\"color: red;\">Dr. Lawrence Fung,<\/strong> director of the recent highly successful Stanford Neurodiversity Summit at Stanford Medical School. Dr. Fung will review the main themes of the five-day online Summit, which attracted over 3100 participants from around the world, and he will talk about next steps, including the upcoming Job Fair\/Reverse Job Fair for neurodiverse job seekers and the employers hoping to hire them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"229\" height=\"243\" src=\"http:\/\/aascend.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Lawrence-Fung.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3241\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Fung holds M.D. and Ph.D. degrees and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Stanford University School of Medicine, where he directs the <a href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/psychiatry\/patient_care\/neurodev.html\">Adult Neurodevelopment Clinic<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/neurodiversity.html\">Stanford Neurodiversity Project<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/funglab.html\">Fung Lab<\/a>. The Stanford Neurodiversity Summit was organized with strong input from, and participation by, autistic adults, including AASCEND members. At the November 14 conference debriefing, and as usual at AASCEND meetings, <span style=\"color: #339966;\">attendees on the autism spectrum will offer their experience and perspectives&nbsp;throughout the program.<\/span> Bring your questions and reflections about the Summit!
