Based outside of Sacramento, it emphasizes the practical arts and craft skills as a path to the job world and adulthood. Meristem will be represented by its president, <strong>Edmund Knighton.<\/strong> The Zoom link will be emailed a day or so before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"201\" height=\"238\" src=\"http:\/\/aascend.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Edmund-Knighton.png\" alt=\"Edmund Knighton\" class=\"wp-image-3284\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joining Edmund Knighton will be Meristem Work Skills Manager <strong>Eric Stewart<\/strong>. Together they will discuss the Meristem approach, and more broadly the transition programs and approaches available to young adults with autism in Northern California. AASCEND member <strong>Clara Chao Bierhaus<\/strong>, currently a student at Meristem, also will join the discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As usual, <span style=\"color: #339966;\">attendees on the spectrum will offer their experience and perspectives\u00a0throughout the program.<\/span> Bring your questions.
