As a board member, for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aplacetobeva.org\/\">A Place To Be<\/a>, a nationally recognized music therapy venture, he has played a key role in its growth. Doug also serves on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verizon.com\/about\/news\/press-releases\/verizon-appoints-national-consumer-advisory-board\">Verizon Consumer Advisory Board<\/a> and on the board of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ahedd.org\/\">AHEDD<\/a>, a disability employment organization<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As usual at AASCEND meetings, <span style=\"color:#457e67\" class=\"has-inline-color\">attendees on the autism spectrum will offer their experience and perspectives throughout the program.<\/span> Come offer yours!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who: <\/b>Adults on the autism spectrum, families, mentors and professionals all welcome.
