Continuing with\u00a0A<\/strong><\/span>A<\/strong><\/span>S<\/strong><\/span>C<\/strong><\/span>E<\/strong><\/span>N<\/strong><\/span>D<\/strong><\/span>‘s\u00a0pushback against pandemic isolation we are planning an adventure<\/strong> to the new Tunnel Tops Park<\/mark><\/strong> recently opened in San Francisco. We’ll meet at 11am<\/mark> <\/mark><\/strong>on<\/mark> <\/mark>Saturday, August 27,<\/mark><\/strong> at the St. Francis Yacht Club parking lot (<\/strong><\/mark>X<\/mark><\/strong> on the map). <\/strong><\/mark>This is the same place we met for our Crissy Field hike last October. From the Tunnel Tops Park we’ll head into the Presidio to enjoy the view and nature there, and then take a beautiful loop back to Crissy Field for our return, with a stop to check out the amazing new playground they’ve built there. NOTE: The hike is on the <\/mark> <\/mark>4th Saturday<\/strong><\/mark> <\/b><\/font><\/mark>of the month, <\/mark><\/strong>not the usual 3rd Saturday of AASCEND meetings, and at <\/b><\/font><\/mark>11am,<\/strong><\/mark> not the usual 10am. <\/mark>We plan to sit down together to eat along the way, so bring a lunch.<\/mark><\/strong> It’s San Francisco, so dress accordingly! <\/p>\n\n\n
