After a scenic tour of the verdant bluffs overlooking the Pacific we circled back and settled in for lunch and stimulating conversation on a sheltered platform overlooking the sea. Canine friends Timber and Lucy had the most fun of all! The wind was offshore, so no hang gliders were to be seen. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\"><em>See below for pix<\/em><\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 3 the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">S<\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\">C<\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">E<\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">N<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">D<\/span><\/strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> <\/mark><strong>Job Club<\/strong> presents <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Matt Regan,<\/mark><\/strong> <strong>Vice President of Public Policy<\/strong> at the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bayareacouncil.org\/about-us\/\">Bay Area Council<\/a>. <\/mark><\/strong>Matt will discuss hiring in the Bay Area as we go into 2023. The Council is an organization of over <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">300 major companies<\/mark><\/strong> in the Bay Area. Matt has lead responsibility for the Council\u2019s federal, state and local government relations as well as workforce development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matt is a native of Ireland. He\u00a0attended the Middlesex University School of Law in London where he earned his LLB and the University of Ulster School of Business where he graduated with a Post Graduate Degree in Marketing. \u00a0\u00a0Matt lives in Pleasant Hill with his family, where he serves as a Commissioner on the <strong>Contra Costa First Five<\/strong> Commission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color:#b16a00\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Zoom meeting URL and password will be sent to people on our email list as the date approaches.
